Freebies

I've recently learned of another death in the family so I've been rather busy worrying over that: thus, I haven't been able to work on my additions to the treasure hunt. I still want to put it up soon along with the header contest, but to be honest I haven't even had time to write up a page for that! So as not to leave everyone high and dry during our anniversary month, here are some freebies. :)

Anniversary Games

I apologize for the delay. Setting up the treasure hunt is taking a lot longer than I thought it would. I want to make it longer than it was last time. :) Instead I've uploaded the rest of the games for you; you can access them by visiting the activity page.

On the next update I'll have the hunt done and a layout header contest, since several people expressed interest. :)

Game Updates

Group 2 games have been updated! I have most of the anniversary activities prepared, but I've gotten a bit distracted with a new layout for my personal site so unfortunatley I haven't been able to really concentrate on them. They'll definitely be up before the end of the week, and will run for one full month. :)

New Card Sets

You may take one card from each set, as well as one extra card from a single set for a total of 6 cards. Comment with what you take!

February & March Birthdays

Well, since I forgot to reward February birthdays I'll just combine them in this post now. :P The following people may take the birthday card below along with 2 regular cards of choice (comment with what you take): Mi-Chan (Feb 14), Akito (Feb 14), Forks (Mar 12), and Daisykit (Mar 25).

Game Updates

Groups 1 and 3 games have been updated. I'll update group 2 tomorrow. It's been a very busy month - February was my first month back to work full time after my surgery! You may take 3 regular cards of choice, each from different sets to help me celebrate. :) Comment with what you take.

Card sets will be coming tomorrow with the game update.

Oh, and by the way, a group 3 game update means that there's a new crossword and a new word search.

Forms

All forum "forms" have been answered as well as anything that was sitting in my inbox.

Birthday

The website's birthday is this month! Here's to a rocky start but I think an overall great first year. I'm glad that you guys have enough interest to keep the game going, because I've really enjoyed running it. Tomorrow when I update there will be celebratory games, as well as another treasure hunt.

Layout

We're in desparate need of a new layout. What would you think of a header graphic contest?

New Cards

We have quite a few new cards - not very many new sets, but I've added another bulk to the All Authors set. You may take 1 card from each regular set and 2 cards from the authors set (between numbers 41 and 60 - the last grouping on the page).

Games Update

Group 1 and 2 games have been updated. I will add a new crossword puzzle soon and a new word search as well, but I didn't have time to do that this update.

Doubles Pool

I've also set up a doubles page as per a suggestion I received. You can find it on the bottom of the activities page.

Freebies

The freebies activity page has been updated, as well as the forum freebies.

Being Away

I'll be in Tennessee (thus out of state) all next week. I'll have Internet access but I won't be sitting around so I doubt I'll have time to do anything here during that time. It shouldn't affect updates or anything; I just won't be able to reply to any forms during that time.

At this time, all forms and forum posts have been answered.

One Last Question

Would you guys like for me to put the previous answer on the game pages when I update them? I don't think anyone has mentioned the desire but if you'd like to know what was right I'll be happy to start adding that to the updates. :)

Happy New Year Everyone!

I was planning this update previously and had most of it ready to go but then I had to go to the hospital for emergency surgery so I've been more or less unavailable. I'm sorry but I'm sure you can understand. In any case, full game update available now. There is also a new game in Group 2. :) I'm also sorry that I couldn't get the new year's games up! You may all take 1 choice card from any author set.

New Cards

Yes! There's tons of them. From below, you may take one choice from each set, and then four additional cards that are either #01 or #16, each from different sets. That's 14 cards from separate sets, with 4 sets overlapping, valuing a total of 14. From below, you may take 2 cards of choice for a total worth of 8.

Emails & Forum

I am working on finishing up the emails that are in my inbox & answering the forum posts.

More Regular Updates

The next update should be somewhere around the 1st of Feburary. It'll consist of card sets, games, and answers to any questions that you may have. I will be doing my *best* to have more regular updates this year, because I felt like I failed you guys in doing that last year. (It's one of my resolutions.) If nothing else, there will always be two card set updates a month (excepting January, of course, but it's a pretty big update this time around) and at least 1 group of games.

Because of my surgery I'm going to have to lay low for the next week so I'll be around. I'll probably spend a lot of time updaing my book database which is missing about 700 books :P but I'll try to check the email for this TCG regularly.

Any time I offer cards on an update, you must comment with which cards you take - whether or not I remember to note that. Please keep it in mind!

Members Page

I've gone through the members once again looking for activity & existence and found a lot of websites down or gone, and some people who haven't updated since September! Please check for your name.

New Levels

Our member Zooey is steadily approaching Level 10 which means I had to add 11-20. They're supposed to be the process of writing and publishing a book... Well, anyway, you'll have to earn 500 cards to level up. You'll earn more special prizes, however! Check the about page for more information.
